HOUSE RULES
Admission and Hours of Operation
Tickets can be purchased in advance online (using a credit card, SimplePay, PayPal, or an OTP SZÉP card) or at the venue (with cash, a credit card, or an OTP SZ&ÉP card).
Admission is only permitted with a valid ticket.
The Experience Center is open to visitors only during business hours. (Events held outside these hours are exceptions to this rule.)
Studio screenings begin promptly at the announced time. To ensure the best possible visitor experience and the smooth running of the program &, admission will not be permitted once the screening has begun.
Accessibility
The Experience Center is wheelchair-accessible. Please contact our staff for assistance with using the wheelchair lift, which is optimized for this purpose, or for any other assistance you may need.&
Important notice for our blind and deaf visitors!
The Experience Center is not accessible to people who are deaf, hard of hearing, or visually impaired; and therefore some content may not be accessible to visitors, or may only be partially accessible.
For our visually impaired guests, we recommend visiting only with an escort; however, the Experience Center staff cannot provide an escort.
Assistance Dogs
Assistance dogs are permitted only if they are wearing a harness.
The wheelchair-accessible restroom is located on the lowest level of the Experience Center.
Stroller
Visitors with strollers can visit the café located on the ground floor of the Experience Center. When visiting other experience areas, strollers must be left at the coat check.
For safety reasons, strollers are not permitted in the Ground Floor Exhibition Hall, nor in the Hexagon Grand Hall or Studio on the first floor.
Safety and Behavior
Visitors are required to follow the instructions of the Experience Center staff.
Behavior that may disturb other visitors' experience or cause damage to the exhibition installationsor other equipment.
Visitors may only touch the exhibits and interactive elements in the designated areas.
In the case of a group visit, the supervisor or organizer is responsible for the behavior of the group members and for any damage they cause.
Persons under the influence of alcohol, narcotics, or stimulants are not permitted to visit the Experience Center.
Please do not bring your bags, backpacks, or umbrellas into the Experience Center; as we provide free luggage storage on the ground floor of the facility, next to the reception desk.
To ensure the safety of visitors and the exhibition, we operate video surveillance system is in operation. Our camera policy is available on our website.
Photos and videos
Visitors may take photographs within the Experience Center exclusively for personal, non-commercial purposes. The use of professional equipment (tripods, flashes) is permitted only with prior written authorization from the Experience Center.
Photos taken by visitors may not be used:
• for political campaigns, party political purposes, or public propaganda,
• for the purpose of religious or ideological recruitment or promotion,
· in the context of advertising, marketing, or other business/commercial activities.
The recordings must not give the impression that the &Experience Center supports any political, religious, or economic organization or endorses its activities.
Any use other than for personal purposes is strictly prohibited without the prior written permission of the &Experience Center.
Please note that promotional photographs and videos are taken for promotional purposes. These are primarily general-audience recordings; however, given the nature of our events, it cannot be ruled out that certain participants— including children—may appear in a recognizable manner in the footage.
We use the recordings on our company’s various marketing channels (e.g., website, social media platforms).
Unless the participant specifically indicates upon entering the venue that they do not consent to to be filmed (both on their own behalf and on behalf of any child participating with them), our company will consider the participant to have consented to appearing in the unscripted program.
Food and Drink
Bringing food and drinks into the Experience Center is prohibited, except in designated areas, such as the café.
No food or drinks may be brought into the interactive areas.
Smoking and vaping are permitted only in designated areas.
Children and Supervision
Children may visit the museum only when accompanied by an adult.
The accompanying adult is responsible for supervising the children throughout the entire visit.
Using Interactive Elements
Technological devices and interactive elements may only be used in accordance with the instructions; and our staff will be happy to assist visitors in this regard.
In the event of misuse of the technology or intentional damage, the visitor is financially liable.
Clothing and Behavior
Please wear appropriate, comfortable clothing when visiting the Experience Center.
Visitors wearing inappropriate attire (e.g., bare feet, swimwear) are not permitted to enter the Experience Center.
Loud talking and listening to music may disturb other visitors' experience, so these activities should be avoided.
Health and Safety Regulations
Please be aware when visiting that immersive experiences, VR (virtual reality), or the use of intense lights and/or sounds may cause discomfort for those who are sensitive to them. If you are prone to epileptic seizures, consult your doctor before visiting.
Prohibited Items
It is prohibited to bring sharp objects, weapons, or other dangerous items into the Experience Center; and it is also prohibited to bring in any hazardous materials, chemicals, or flammable items.
Dogs (with the exception of service dogs) and other small animals are not permitted in the visitor area.
Regulations for Organized Groups and Guided Tours
Any organized group visit by an outside group to the Experience Center’s premises, including, in particular, guided tours of exhibitions, guided sightseeing tours, and the organization and conduct of any “guided tour” program is permitted exclusively with the prior written authorization of VEB2023. To maintain professional standards, organizing groups and conducting guided tours without a permit is strictly prohibited. Anyone present at the VEB2023 venue is authorized to halt programs organized without a permit and, if necessary,, if necessary, instruct those involved to cease their activities and leave the Experience Center grounds.
Emergency
In the event of an emergency, please follow the instructions of the Experience Center staff and use the emergency exits.
