CODE Educational Program

What educational challenges does CODE address?

A New Dimension in Learning

For 21st-century students, digital technology is a natural environment. Education can truly connect with them only if it uses this medium consciously and for pedagogical purposes.

At the CODE Digital Experience Center, students are not just observers but active participants in the learning process. Visuals, interactivity, and state-of-the-art digital technology are not ends in themselves— they create an experience that aids understanding, sparks curiosity, and makes learning memorable in the long term.

When designing our programs, a key consideration was to ensure they were appropriate for the students’ ages, prior knowledge, as well as the curricula and age groups of the respective classes, to provide a genuine learning experience. The engaging digital content and interactive elements are not included for their own sake: their purpose is to spark interest, support experiential learning, and strengthen the connection to the curriculum within the framework of an unconventional lesson.

A paradigm shift in education and cultural consumption.

PACKAGE DEALS

Pedagogically targeted, age-appropriate content—which shapes learning through experience.

Thanks to the three-step structure of our educational program, learning does not begin at CODE, nor does it end there.

The preparatory materials provided before the visit help visitors get in the right frame of mind, and the experiences gained at the experience center are integrated into the learning process through supplementary materials that support post-visit reflection.

At the CODE Digital Experience Center, we believe that learning doesn’t end at the classroom walls. At the CODE Digital Experience Center, we believe that learning doesn’t end at the classroom walls.

CODE shows that…

  • the many different ways in which thoughts can be expressed using digital tools,
  • how art can merge with the latest technologies,
  • how a complex audiovisual experience is created, one in which we can participate
  • how interdisciplinary thinking can be supported by experience-based, interactive content
  • how to make tangible concepts, phenomena, or connections that belong to the fields of natural sciences, social studies, the arts, or digital culture,
  • how digital installations can become tools to complement teachers’ work
  • and how can they help develop key competencies such as creativity, problem-solving, collaboration, critical thinking, and technological and cultural awareness.

The goal of the complex learning experience is to ensure that learning is not merely the acquisition of knowledge, but rather active discovery and experiential development, which is capable of sustaining student motivation over the long term.

The CODE experience goes beyond traditional visual education: an interdisciplinary experiential space where the intersections of society, science, technology, and art converge. The goal of the interdisciplinary approach used here is for students not only to acquire knowledge, but also to discover connections, ask questions, and interpret the world from their own perspective.

Various types of games (whether they are quizzes, logic puzzles, or cooperative games) és the unconventional presentations can be incorporated into preschool and school activities, theme weeks, and teacher-led supplementary lessons, thereby promoting variety in learning processes and the fulfillment of educational goals.

It is important to us that students participate in an experiential, comprehensive developmentthat is based not only on the use of technological tools but also on the discovery of connections between subjects. &We provide comprehensive knowledge across various subjects and at the level of the skills and abilities to be developed.

OUR MISSION

The CODE Educational Program aims to develop students’ creative thinking, visual literacy, and sensitivity to the interconnections between technology, art, and society. We believe that through discovery, play, and shared experiences, learning becomes deeper, more memorable, and more vibrant.
