Family Workshop — This Time, the Code Is More Important Than the Car!
Discover together how a “thinking” a self-driving car “thinks”! During the workshop, you’ll work together to program a LEGO SPIKE robot car so it can complete the course on its own. 🚗
Program a Self-Driving Car! – Code Together as a Family 🚗
🌟 How do you find your way without a driver?
During the one-and-a-half-hour family workshop, you learn the basics of self-driving vehicles: how the car perceives its surroundings using its sensors, and how it makes decisions based on its programing. Step by step, using block-based coding, you’ll write your own program in the LEGO SPIKE app, and then test it on the track.
Logical thinking, problem-solving, and teamwork develop as participants work through the tasks—kids and adults help one another to arrive at a working solution. No prior programing knowledge is required.
Come and set your own self-driving cars on their journey! 🏁
