Night of Museums – Secrets of Robotland

CODE CREATOR - Digital Creative Workshop
CODE CREATOR - Digital Creative Workshop

Screen-free programming for elementary school students

With the Matatalab robot, kids build commands out of colorful blocks – as if they were assembling instructions for a little robot from a jigsaw puzzle. One step forward, a turn to the left, forward again… and the robot does exactly what it was “told” to do. Then the question arises: will it really get to where we intended?

Why do kids love it? Because it’s hands-on: they can build, experiment, and see their ideas turn into movement, drawings, or music. If something doesn’t quite work out, they look for the mistake together—and when they finally succeed, that’s the real joy.

And in the meantime (almost imperceptibly), they’re also developing: step-by-step thinking, logic, spatial awareness, and creativity, as well as teamwork— after all, the best projects are born from brainstorming.

Who is it for? For elementary school-aged children with a spirit of experimentation (and parents who are happy to help decipher the occasional command line!).
