Professional Discussions

Would you like to learn more about this new dimension of cinema? Don’t miss the expert panel discussions at CODE 3D Studio.

The Language of Film in a 360° World – If Everyone Sees Something Different, Are We Watching the Same Movie?

The discussion focuses on 360° filmmaking and immersive storytelling. How does the fact that viewers cannot look in just one direction, but are free to explore the story unfolding all around them, transform their role?

Date and Time: 3:00–4:30 p.m., August 28

Could immersive spaces be the next step for cinema?

After sound film, after color film, and after digital film, could immersive technology be the next major transformation in cinema? This panel discussion explores this question, and examines what new possibilities this medium could create for storytelling in film.

Date and time: 3:00–4:30 p.m., August 29

The professional discussions are free to attend, but seating is limited, so admission is on a first-come, first-served basis.

Let’s meet at Veszprém-Balaton Film Picnic and experience what cinema in the next dimension can be like!
