A Culture of Quality for Everyone – Institutions in Veszprém Participate in the Petőfi Cultural Program

New partnerships, nationwide digital experience programs and innovative activities targeting young people – the institutions of the ECoC program are joining the Petőfi Cultural Program and the, are further strengthening community culture.

The cultural institutions operating as part of the Veszprém-Balaton 2023 European Capital of Culture program continue to work actively to strengthen community cooperation, creativity, and cultural diversity. In this spirit, CODE Center of Digital Experiences, CODE Creator Digital Workshop, and Várbörtön (Dungeon) Visitor Center joined the Petőfi Cultural Program(PKP) and the Community-Building Culture (KÉK) initiatives.

The programs launched by the Ministry of Culture and Innovation are implemented under the coordination of the National Institute of Culture. Their goal is to strengthen local communities, revitalize the cultural life of settlements, contribute to the preservation of Hungarian cultural identity, and ensure that access to high-quality cultural experiences does not depend on where one lives— so that residents of smaller towns can also participate in the country’s cultural life.

The opportunity to join the PKP and KÉK programs enables institutions to reach the widest possible audience with their professional expertise and innovative programs— thereby strengthening cultural life and digital literacy in communities across the country.
